There is a secluded place I know that has growing within it a very old tree which has many wondrously strange looking growths emanating from it complete with thick gnarly vines which only complete its look.
For many years numerous stories have been told regarding the old Witch tree.
And it is suspected that because of its age that this very same tree has indeed silently witnessed many events through its many long years of growth.
But since it has long been known as “The Old Witch Tree” it comes as no surprise that something magickal should be part of its known legend and reported superstition like lore.
Sighting of elements ranging from unexplainable lights to unusual creatures and even spirits are quite common around this particular tree which seems to harbor an attraction for such things while generating a discomfort towards anyone unfamiliar with its history and reputation.
Having visited this same location countless times while presenting myself respectfully, always involves bringing a gift of significance toward spirits of nature, where I will take my photos and then leave without having significantly caused any disturbance.
In this particular picture of the tree you can almost make out what looks like an old woman’s face looking off to the side in our direction.
Which as I see it only further adds to “The Old Witch Trees” already stately charm and power.
