Rochester Paranormal

We had some absolutely lovely lake effect snow weather here today in Monroe County New York.

Blustery winds.

Whiteouts.

And even some periodic freezing rain just to make the day even more interesting.

Now on a day like this most folks are more focused on either staying indoors and keeping warm or are out playing or unavoidably traveling in the white stuff.

For me its just another day of conducting research in testing out the potential for another of my hypotheses.

And that my friends is how the cookie crumbles.

What is it?

Well if it isn’t an apparitional anomaly it just might possibly be a snow flake on steroids.

Of course in typical fashion she first denied any knowing of the images existence.

Then proceeds to inform me about how the name of their site is listed on our blog.

Which was when I mentioned that there was a BIG difference between mentioning a name as compared to illegally using someone’s personal image.

And that was about when she said she had no more time to argue with me and then proceeded to hang-up.

At this point it really feels like I’m being blackmailed.

Of which last time I checked was still considered illegal behavior.

My response?

Unless Monroe Ghosts have obtained from me a signed model release form, Monroe Ghosts should consider any use of my images in violation of copyright and right-to-privacy law and thus is ordered to remove from any and all their sites my image plus cease and desist in any and all further actions against myself and this organization.

Now that is what I call taking out the trash. LOL.;)

I mean can’t you just feel the love?

There is yet another paranormal group which you may expect will be going about hounding the public to make a name for itself.

M.C.P.I. Which stands for Monroe COUNTY PARANORMAL investigations.

And check out their witty slogan….

“if you believe in the hereafter”
“you know what we’re here after”

And apparently their webmaster has serious issues. For why would anyone intentionally use keys phrase titles taken from some of our own posting plus also use our own personal names in their meta tags for anyone to easily find if this group did not have serious issues?

Lets begin with this partial example which was copied from the coding of their website.

“haunted geva theatre, rochester paranormal, ms. cindy lee, director j. burkhart, wokr television, />$–>”

See the problem? Like why was it necessary to use the name Rochester Paranormal, Ms. Cindy Lee, and Director J. Burkhart, unless you were attempting to nudge in perhaps on their search engine listings.

So I contacted them and bitched about it where they gave me their word that it would be fixed.

Two days later their site scripting had now been changed to the following…

“haunted geva theatre, rochester paranormal, ms. , director j., wokr television,
/>$–>”

Well, so much for taking these folks at their word.

Incidentally, the group M.C.P.I. is made up of members from WNY Paranormal and thus are also friends and close associates of Dwayne Claud.

It became immediately apparent that some things, and people, never change.

Don’t expect much from this particular group especially after having pulled such a stunt.
