Rochester Paranormal

One little known fact is that there exist several domains which point to this blog site. And one of which for a time had reflected my personal faith, my spirituality, as well as expressing my objections against specific individuals of the local Rochester Wiccan community whom it was felt had acted immorally against its own community out of a need for power and money.

Several months ago I abandoned my position as guardian of this region in permitting those wronged by such people to finally standup for themselves.

The site of which I speak of was known as Witches Of Lore. A site and tradition which existed long before all the Goths out there stole the name for themselves in representing everything from werewolves and vampires and Wicca oh my!

So when the site came down some of the local Wicnits began patting themselves on the back for a job well done. I mean after I sent my email to Mary of Rochester Pagan Pride stating I was walking away from it all and no longer wanted to be bothered that was pretty much it.

Problem was I still had one little parting act up my sleeve which none of them had ever considered.

For the longest time there have always been people who for whatever reason never did quite make the connection between Rochester Paranormal and that of Witches Of Lore. Where some folks thought it was just a spooky union in linking the two together in creating a more paranormal and supernatural resource.

Truth of the matter was that the people behind Witches Of Lore were also the same people behind the site Rochester Paranormal.

So for many folks including Pagans, when Witches Of Lore http://shadow-lore.org was removed they were surprised when the domain name would then take them to Rochester Paranormal. Representing the fact that the people behind Rochester Paranormal and its advanced ability to capture anomalous events are Witches who are well versed in magick and the supernatural realm of spirits.

Which was something both Wiccans and many others within the field didn’t like because no matter how much they profess their own authority it is true experience which will always prevail.

And real hereditary Witches make the best paranormal researchers who can hold their own when things get rough.

Another difference between us and the rest is that our relationship with spirit is based on mutual respect and understanding whether a spirit be positive or negative in nature as dealing with the spirit realm should never be taken lightly.

Our ghostly visitor was captured on film just last night after I had cast a few bones while conducting a protection spell against some threats we had received of activity against us by the local Wiccan community.

You would think such people would think twice before doing harm against others.

Live and learn or Live and burn.

Respect within the paranormal community, like any other community, is something that takes time to establish, and after maintaining a nine year presence on the web, you come to understand the ins and outs of where you might find acceptance and where you obviously will not.

Within the realm of the paranormal exists numerous sub categories where each has it’s own unique following of believers and skeptics alike.

It’s generally very difficult to acquire any level of acceptance within this highly selective community where rampant jealousies and underhanded competition seem to be the preferred method of doing business instead of there being more of a cooperative venture between the many groups and organizations in existence today.

But human nature being what it is, does seem to produce some rather negative behaviors in people, behaviors which never need be enacted nor even considered because everyone holds the power within themselves to express something more positive where I believe the problem is that society in general has become indifferent because by becoming indifferent it then doesn’t need to concern itself with having to handle emotional issues which then may promote feelings of failure and or vulnerability’s.

And especially during times of hardship will you find this the greatest of societal infliction, where then the distribution of acceptance and respect towards each other become the very least of our concerns.

Which in and of itself is sad.

For then what suffers most is our sense of self worth and human dignity.

When you think of the expression “creatures of the night” what usually comes to mind?

Vampires? Werewolves? The Moth Man? The Bat Man? Well, I’m sure you get the ideal.

People throughout the centuries have described many different experiences involving their encounters with a variety of strange and often frightening aberrations ranging from ghosts to creature which were of flesh and blood and even fangs!

There have also been those encounters which had involved only sound and the sensation of being watched and yes even stalked by something which could not be seen by the human eye.

Fear of the unknown will quickly get your heart beating faster and may also cause the mind to hallucinate in turning any fear of something unknown into a far greater threat than it had really merited.

Thus creating within us an emotional response known as “fight or flight” resulting from a surge of adrenaline coursing through your blood stream resulting in an instant panic response for self preservation from any danger real or imagined.

But do unseen forces exist in our world?

The answer is yes they most certainly do and will usually be evidence of near encounters with spirits and entities much like that captured in our photo which I have named “the beast” because of its semi quasi animal like characteristics.
