Communicating With Spirit
I’m sure by now most of you are already aware of the A&E program for this October called Paranormal Extreme which will involve individuals from Pennsylvania who will intentionally delve more deeply into stories of hauntings by attempting to willfully provoke responses from the paranormal by any means possible by putting themselves in harms way unlike other paranormal investigators through taunting ghosts, summoning the dead and daring the demonic to attack.
And these being some of the people who were featured as part of last year’s return of the “Just Say No to Orbs†tour to the Waverly Opera House, in an attempt to bring back more focus on the American ghost story, which has faded with the growing popularity of the paranormal because of people making money off of fear, where they say a lot of investigators out there are now making a great deal of money from telling you what you shouldn’t do while never really going into a lot of detail.â€
Now besides creating what I’m sure they are hoping may become yet another lucrative franchise like that presently raking in the big bucks being enjoyed by the staff of both Ghost Hunter and Paranormal State, might they also be creating a new breed of paranormal enthusiast who would be more skeptical of any phenomena because not every encounter is guaranteed to produce results.
Which should provide a clue regarding the evidence portrayed through today’s most popular ghost programs by forcing them to maintain a higher standard of authenticity especially should their viewers become more balanced in their receptiveness on any given fact.
And that would be a good thing.
Problem is such programming may also create a new breed of paranormal enthusiast who is more willing to take their subject to new extremes because it’s human nature to become creatively competitive for the sake of outdoing the original works of any predecessor by considering it an ultimate challenge.
And that would be a bad thing.
Extreme Paranormal might have their principle characters pounding on walls, breaking mirrors, screaming at the top of their lungs, or performing some form of bogus ritual in order to illicit a response from the great beyond.
Paranormal enthusiasts might take it to the extreme by damaging property and perhaps even shedding their own blood through self mutilation or that from having sacrificed an animal of some type complete with using the personal effects of someone now deceased, taken or stolen from either the persons formal home or grave site.
And you can not scoff at this because it has happened before and very well could happen again especially if a program like Paranormal Extreme should somehow make rattling the cage of the paranormal more fashionable.
Now there are many methods which can be implemented towards attracting the attention of the paranormal both positive and negative. But doing so in an abrupt fashion is only going to possibly produce results, which if any do occur, may not be all that you had imagined.
Now in the paranormal community today are way too many people involved only for the attention, prestige, maybe some power, and of course for the money.
But anyone within the paranormal who really knows the paranormal can tell you that either the paranormal selects you or you select the paranormal.
One comes with much stronger results and a higher responsibility while the other invites an element into your existence which will forever plague you long after you had chosen a different interest all together. Where once the door is opened and they know you, are you forever on their radar.
No joke.
The image I have included with this post is one which was taken of me communicating with a spirit while we were at Frontier Field in Rochester New York.
Where it must be remembered that spirits can be drawn to almost anywhere from almost anywhere provided you have the knowledge and a naturally strong connection with them.
Again, no joke.
