Rochester Paranormal

Just came in from cleaning out the driveway of more than a foot of snow accumulation. Took slightly more than an hour but the job got done even while more than an inch an hour continues pounding our area.

And while I was out there experiencing an almost mantra frame of mind while finding harmony between man and the elements did I find myself being reminded of the double standards as exhibited by the Western New York Paranormal and Spiritual community.

Double standards like it’s ok to use your groups name through more than eight different sites but it’s not ok when you complain about it because after all, we would never take your sites name from you.

Scratching head on that one.

Then there are those who are caught red handed slandering you publicly where should you decide to defend yourself everybody takes the side of the people who attacked you like you deserved it even while minding your own business.

“Bartender” another double please.

And to imagine the audacity of the schmuck who dared throw in my face that I bitch about other people when all I am really doing is just once more defending myself against the rampant idiocy found in this region.

They expect me to remain silent over how they treat their victims so as not to tarnish their reputations while their own behaviors are usually thousands of times worse.

Take for example the letter I just received. In it was detailed how a so called loving and knowledgeable older woman in the local community who after having shook hands with a male paranormal investigator had then proceeded “warning” everyone in the Buffalo and Rochester community about the individual just because she didn’t like his handshake!

Of course I also received a chastising over my having spoken out against this same woman who the letter claimed was all about sharing and caring when in reality my experience had shown me she was someone who was all about power and control in running everything “her” way. And yet once more the double standard comes to play.

But to imagine anyone taking it upon themselves to ruin someone else’s reputation over a handshake in the real world says far worse of them than the guy with a wimpy wrist and grip.

I could go on and on describing the many losses this warm hearted community has waged in creating severe financial losses for those which should be held in higher regard instead of the ones who if it were not for their ruthlessness would be nothing in this community. It would involve a list of characters even Hollywood or Disney could never have created on their own covering the paranormal right on through the Wiccan and New Age community.

Problem is should ever the truth be revealed on the local level in time such people would only be replaced by a newer and perhaps even worse cast of characters.

Dumb, Dumber, Dumbest.

So the local problem Children can and will continue so that you the public can explore and make your own discoveries of these hidden treasures of humanity much like within Pandora’s Box which are just waiting to enshroud your mind and darken your heart against anyone they oppose.

Because we are after all human.

Well, at least some of us.

I received an anonymous letter sent through the United States Postal service which included content very negative against another paranormal investigator from this region.

It then proceeded to cast poorly a business associate of same individual.

Then the letter writer, written presumably by either a woman or someone male in serious need of psychiatric help, then continued by chastising me regarding Cookie Stringfellow before finally finishing with the usual repetitive dribble over my blurry pictures.

The unknown writer of this letter is a psychotic fruitcake who not only threatened myself and Ms. Lee but had also stupidly described unethical behavior committed by one well known regional paranormal investigator against another which if ever released publicly would tear apart what’s left of this so called pathetic excuse of a local paranormal community.

I do not pity the schmuck for having threatened me and Cindy in your type printed letter.

You threatened me with karma and blood.

Since you believe in magick might your resulting discomforts prove once more a reminder that it is best in keeping your ignorance to your self.

On February 23rd 2010 an accident early this morning on Atlantic Avenue cut power to an area in Penfield. Apparently the vehicle in question had slid off the road and crashed into a utility pole leaving a reported female driver with minor head injury and no trip to the hospital.

Atlantic Avenue between Five Mile Line Road and Baird Road was closed while Rochester Gas & Electric crews worked to restore power which had effected about 2,200 customers in the Penfield area of which all had been restored by 3 a.m.

The name of the driver was not released.

And now for the rest of the story.

At precisely 1:00 a.m. this morning there appeared a brilliant bluish flash which seemed to originate a distance north of our home which then was accompanied by all loss of power.

Others in the area had reported the same flashing phenomena but swore it had came from the south of their location on Atlantic Ave.

Flashing occurred twice with neither one producing any sound which sometimes is produced from the downing of power poles.

What is odd was the absence of any flashing having emanated from the vicinity of the supposed accident which was about a mile or more east of our location.

All power was then restored at precisely 3 a.m.

So what we have is a reported brilliant bluish flash separately to the north and south but not from the accident site in the east.

And power being disrupted at precisely 1 a.m. and precisely restored at 3 a.m.

Now that is what I call efficiency. From the utilities no less.

Now what I’m not mentioning were the reports of the “flash” coming from directly over homes in the effected area.

The name of the driver was not released.

Perhaps there was good reason.

Within the Western New York region and much beyond there exists little acceptance of anyone different or unique. And even less so if substantiated or confirmed an abnormality which may defy rational comprehension. Which may serve in explaining our societies willing eagerness to embrace those who claim themselves different with little or no proof of authenticity while exclaiming themselves superior in comparison to all others.

Those which compare themselves against such enigmas do so fueled by their own inferiority.

Our species is prone to fearing anything of which it can not understand.

After much consideration involving meditation and prayer regarding the level of intentional maliciousness waged against us and Rochester Paranormal had I arrived through council of spirit with the following domain name which just feels perfect in representing our existence in a far more favorable and positive light.

I’ve been silent long enough about this individual and his bull crap and now that I have been informed as to the full scope of his shenanigans am I now going public.

Now am I here to complain about his attracting a great deal of attention for himself from Syfy Ghost Hunters while originally going under the name Rochester Paranormal Society?

Not really. Especially when all he did was walk down the same path already create by another Western New York individual who prior had pulled the same stunt using our name.

And do I care that Mr. Street is also associating himself with a Ghost Tour scheme where he is the primary focus as an all knowing ghost hunting guru through his Herb Street method which sounds more like a birthing class than it does anything paranormal related?

No. Because this was all predicted behavior which always involves first an obsession with power which then evolves into a profit making scheme.

Or is it the fact that even though his group or should I say “alleged groups” are now existing under at least two different names that Herb Street still insists on having videos through YouTube under the name Rochester Paranormal Society even after having requested numerous times that he stop using our name and creating confusion with the public?

No. Because someone of his mentality can generally not be trusted nor expected to do the right thing.

But what does upset me is that Herb Street is such a lowlife scumbag that he instead now has setup a FaceBook group called Rochester Paranormal Society which is apparently managed by his girlfriend or wife who has herself pictured with their recently born baby!

So there you have it folks. The REAL HERB STREET! The man who plays games and hides behind or should I say “uses” a young mother to express his true agenda.

I’ve accepted the fact that since so many individuals from the Western New York paranormal region have intentionally created so much mayhem and self obsessed BS using our name sake that the reputation of Rochester Paranormal has become irreparably damaged.

Allot of heart went into this organization. Thousands of hours involving field investigations and research went into this organization. And all of it for nothing as door after door was slammed in our faces thanks to the efforts of people like Herb Street and others who ruined all our hard work just so they could promote their own selfish agenda.

Presently I’m not sure what may happen to Rochester Paranormal.

It seems that most paranormal programming has been reduced to becoming both repetitive and predictable.

People walking around in search of something which never really quite makes it on a level of tangibility.

Regardless who does the hunting whether they be plumbers, college kids, women, cops, or tweedle dee and tweedle dum from Ghost Lab, there exists nothing presently which adds any air of mystery or intrigue nor anything else which might even be considered frighteningly memorable.

And I might as well mention Chip Coffey and Psychic Kids. Where after having watched this program can only say that if it were me training these little psychic darlings that nothing short of Godzilla would phase them. I don’t agree with Chips methods. And I really feel that this programming involving supernatural subjects and children is morally reprehensible as it serves in solidifying the connection between child and spirit where the likelihood of that child ever having a normal life is compromised.

And Chip, the afore mention only represents the personal opinions of a psychic medium paranormal researcher and shamanic priest who is deeply concerned over the well being of children be they specially gifted or not.

I’ll make a prediction that eventually more extremes “short of scantily clad ghost busting babes” will result in programming as long as most producers can abstain from revealing any material which may honestly frighten and disturb their audience with the truth. And to better understand what is meant by the “truth” might I suggest you watch the film entitled “Strange Harvest” and see if its content doesn’t leave you reconsidering a world you normally take for granted.

Now that is the type of “in your face” actuality programming that the paranormal community deserves from its media.
