The vast world of the paranormal brings many people of different origins, religions, and backgrounds together in the exploration of the unexplained.
In my opinion, the study of the supernatural has no professor or expert. Knowledge in this field is brought forth through experience and research. Those who spend much of their life diligently working and researching can agree with me that this is no flighty matter.
I myself have investigated for about ten years; I have worked very hard on many private residences, properties, and business locations throughout the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. I have handled many different cases gauging from spiritual to the demonic. I have the pleasure of having many amazing people networked around me. Those who possess knowledge that I do not know, from their backgrounds and experiences. . . This is a learning experience for all of us.
There are those in the paranormal who are not in it to quench their thirst for knowledge, but to fatten their bank accounts.
There is a man out of the Western New York area that I previously worked with, that was a prime example of the above statement.
When it comes to doing any kind of investigation no matter the severity, confidentiality must be a priority.
This man was involved with a case surrounding a minor out of upstate New York for roughly three years, in which he brought car load after car load of people to the site. The family he was working with went through complete terror for almost four years, as this man traipsed around many different people on the location.
I myself was brought into this case right before this man decided to leave the family (he claimed to be demoniacally attacked) and then proceed with slithering around New York State publicly speaking to radio shows and giving paid lectures on the case, exploiting the minor, it upsets me deeply.
He never returned to help the family, though on one of his last visits made sure to tell this young boy and his family that he thought this child was the Antichrist.
He still continues to receive funds on giving many “updates†on the boy around Western New York events, as well as having radio shows scheduled for 2010. All the while, the family had no idea of this, nor did they give him any permission to do this.
The family gave up after several suicides within the family and basically thought there was no hope for them and went into hiding.
After doing some major research to find them again, I gave a call to be received with tears of hope on the other end of the phone. I aligned the right group of people to go back in and take care of the problem, it took our group forty five minutes to fix the problem plaguing this family for over eight years.
They have since been very happy, to a point.
When they had discovered the MANY on-line sites and radio shows, as well as this man’s lecture schedule plastered all over the Internet they were terrified. They are now fighting to have this stopped, as well as myself.
This family has become an extension of my own and this man exploiting this young boy to the media and at public events is simply disgusting.
This boy refuses to go back to a public school due to fear that others know what this man has put out there, as well as the family having to endure many drive bys and people sitting in front of their house taking photographs.
This boy is not even in high school level, no one with a soul would ever use a young boy to further their career.
This young man is a very bright, wonderful, and full of life individual that our world is lucky to have.
Due to the actions of the paranormal researcher out of Western New York (who also claims to be a Demonologist) this family has been dragged through the mud, and the ripples that this man has put in the young boys life are terribly damaging. Though, I will stand by this family and fight to have this stopped.
There is no excuse for the confidentiality of a family to be broken to deepen ones pockets.
Exploiting a minor is inexcusable. I will not stop until this family gets the closure and privacy they deserve.
This Paranormal researcher from WNY should be ashamed of himself for his lack of professionalism and respect.
When one loses their conscience, they leave a path of destruction and pain.
When working cases, especially those who involve children, please make sure to respect the family, and always remember, the damage you to do a child can sometimes be irreversible.
Another thing, one should not hand out business cards and claim to be a demonologist without possessing the right knowledge to handle a case thrown at them.
This man has left a trail of many MANY people around New York State emotionally broke down and exploited.
Lack of knowledge gets people killed and ruins lives…

On a more serious note Stacy I find this whole matter over Claud capitalizing on the misery of a child rather disheartening and disgusting.

I guess I wish people would just state provable facts instead of opinions. I am really over the drama and wishes people could work on promoting paranormal phenomenon instead of defaming character and saying rude things. As a teacher of young children, it saddens me to see what the future is for my students. A world full of drama, gossip and I guess just hate. Thank you for the time to be able to relay my frustrations. I am sorry that you believe what you believe and I guess we will never agree. I only go on what I know which can be proven with evidence. Funny…evidence…what us paranormal investigators rely on most.
Quite honestly my dear Stacy if any school board let alone parents were more aware of your extracurricular activities including your questionable colleagues in insanity they would either send you elsewhere as a means of avoiding embarrassment or in good conscious revoke your license.
I trust claud has not so ingrained your psyche as to influence your teaching curriculum.
Perhaps it might be best if you shared with me what school district you work for so an independent investigation can begin.
I mean since you’ve been reported harassing people on claud’s behalf what is to prevent his influence of other aspects of your life both private and professional.

I do believe in this case personal feelings are allowing for the misconstrument of facts. If people are indeed concerned that personal information, aside from case study information, was being devulged on various radio programs, perhaps contacting the radio programs in question would answer, once and for all, whether or not this transpired. In addition, it may be possible that some, if not all of the interviews where archived and are accessible to listen to yourself and see if this actually took place.
Also, it must be clearly stated that just because this indivdual in question has partisipated in various media fair, does not mean it is for sole personal capitalist gain. I can guarantee you that regarding the radio interviews, no compensation was giving. It just doesn’t work that way. He may be given the chance to plug a book, upcoming event, or website, which is nominal self/group promotion at best. He has the right to use his past experiences and make mention previous work (aside from breaking confidentiality policies, which should include the mentioning of names or address, or other sensitive information).Â
To clearify and conclude, I believe the accusations of such explotation has been greatly exaggerated by Ms. O’Connor based on previous bias. Clearly, the responsible thing to do would be to try and substainciate these accusations by investigating the interviews at hand and providing proof, if any exisits. In a community of researchers such as ours, it should be noted that shire accusations hold no ground without evidence and should be disregarded without proper evidence being presented. This is a research standard that should be applied to areas like this without question.
Additional analysis would conclude that if significant time and passion is devoted to the subject of religion and ‘demons’, ‘angels’ and other investigated religious and spiritual entites, then it is within the appropriate bounds to call oneself a ‘demonologist’. Simply, this is due to this particular study leaning on a metaphysical, relgious, and theological standpoint and not a strict scientifict standpoint. Demonology, and studies of the like, are open to interrpretation on many levels. His experience is significant, and does warrant merit, as I’m sure does your own past experiences and research.
Lastly, it is simple to see that no one could ‘launch a career’ or ‘make a ton of money’ from exploting this case, family, or minor, nor would anyone bother. This case is not the end-all-be-all of paranormal activity, demonology, or the like. No such case has ever exsisted, and I don’t believe ever will.
Until evidence is presented (which should have been done in the first place, if any basic investigative techinques were applied), it should be concluded on an unbiased level that these accusations hold no ground. To do so without any presented evidence of any kind is at best slander, and at worst, childish, biased, and inappropriate.

I truly am trying to be polite and state my own opinion. In no way am i harassing anyone and have never harassed so once again no report is available. All I ask for is evidence. This will be my last post because I really had no intention on playing this round robin of insults. I, once again, thank you for your time.
That’s funny, no names were ever mentioned? It is comical to me that so many people jumped right on this; the guilty tend to fight a nameless war.
Jeremy- Great rebuttal to the piece, though, I don’t seem to remember you being anywhere near that site, or at any lectures, which I have recordings of. You are unaware of many things, and I do not wish to share them on a public site. I placed this piece here, as it was my feelings on a very important case. The Paranormal Investigator I mentioned in the piece would have no reason to be on this site other then stalking Joseph Burkhart, which has gone on for years. You will someday learn and when you do, there will not be people to support you. Just know this; approximately one year ago, I was on this same website, doing exactly what you just did tonight. You should go back through the archives. I was shown this site, and fought diligently to defend the honor of a friend, on a subject I knew very little about. Just be cautious because you are clearly an intelligent individual. Though, I am sure you are in for a television show perhaps? With a large cable network? Just think on it… Do your research and you will find there is much more out there then you think. When the research of the paranormal is lost in obsessions with fame, then one is not in it for the right reasons. Just remember my words, as they will come in handy later.
Another important thing I feel the need to mention is that the family involved has been spoken to about this piece and approves it. The family also felt the need to add that the people who came to the site with the above investigator I spoke of in my piece are still in their hearts and they hold no foul against. Mrs. Stacy Barry is one mentioned; who I myself also do not have any hard feelings for. There wasn’t a problem until the young boy found an interview on the internet himself. He is highly intelligent and has a bright future, I cannot express the love I feel for the family.
To clarify: The investigator backed out of the case the last day I was present with him on the property. Over five months later, I opened the case back up with an amazing group of people I work with. We were successful and that is all I care about, that is all that should matter. This is not a feud or childs game. I was approached about the interviews, and a specific lecture that was given ( using some of my photos of a hung shadow person without my permission by the way) That upset the family the most. One must always remember, just because a family doesn’t live near to the location of a lecture, doesn’t mean that they do not have family in the audience…

1. Director .. I would watch your next steps carefully before you go harassing people and threatening them on the internet. Yes, you’re quite right that you’ve not done either … yet … but you are reaching that threshold rapidly. If you think that people will just sit back and take it then you are sadly mistaken. I have no fight to pick with you at the moment but if you want to pursue this avenue with Stacie then I assure you that will change. Let’s hope, for the sake of being civil and adult that we can stick to the case here – the case being Claud and not his friends.
2. Cas, It’s really disappointing that you went and used names when it was quite obvious that neither person had intended to use their full names. If I were to come online and attack one of your friends I would fully expect you to defend them. I’m disappointed that you are surprised that we are doing the same. If you were to just explain to us with facts and proof where you are coming from then we would be forced to evaluate the situation. Don’t judge us based on who we call friends, we are quite capable of independent thought. I never judged you when your separation with Dwayne happened and had talked to you right after, hoping we could still cultivate a friendship but .. I don’t know .. it seems that because I’m still friends with Claud that you have chosen to have nothing to do with me. I’m sorry that’s how it is.
3. Everyone wants to get to the truth here. If Claud is doing these things that people who consider him their friend should be made aware. I’m sorry to say, however, that I can’t just “take your word for it”. I’m not of that personality type. If you were to just show me some proof then I would examine it. I’m the sort that takes the word of a friend until I’m presented with evidence to the contrary. If that makes me feeble minded then so be it. Personally, I think that makes me a reasonable and rational person.
Anyhow, I really don’t want to get into a debate on here with someone. I’m just asking for evidence. I hope I get to see it … for all the obvious reasons.
Again we have yet another example where they think more of themselves than that on the wellbeing of a child.
If his people are guilty of anything it is certainly from being self centered.
Burkhart … what world do you live in? Where in my post did I convey that I cared only of myself? I care about Stacie, yes. Especially when you go to places you shouldn’t. Especially you.
As for the child? Oh I care greatly about a child being manipulated and his/her (I don’t want to allude to the identity of this child) well-being placed in jeopardy. That’s why I asked for the proof. I wouldn’t want to be friends with the likes of someone Cas is describing. I have a young niece and I would think her well-being would be just as important and if this person is a danger to her well-being … well then I think you are ethically bound to making me understand and see the danger.
So please, for the sake of the child, let’s stay on target. Going after Stacie or any of Dwayne’s other friends is not helping the young child in reference. And you’ve made it abundantly clear that you care about this child’s well-being above all else.
Then you should like wise be concerned of the children which Stacie teaches as a NY State bonded certified school teacher of young children.
You must be fully aware of claud’s influence or you would not be here in defense of him.
Therefore if claud hold’s such influence over you we can only imagine what and how he may be of influence over Stacie.

Thank you Cass for getting rid of ‘it’. I do not see one untruth in any of what you wrote, nor do I see one exageration. As for the proof that they all want to see? What are they not getting about that many of my family dying in less than six months? I suppose it was all accidental. I hope you can hang in there because time will prove you right.
If I can say one thing for sure that I know to be true. That would be that you understated what has happened here and if these people knew the whole truth, they would be speechless.
I give up with you. All I asked for was the proof and you turned it into a personal attack against other people. Good luck with your personal vendetta against Claud. But I am warning you to beware of your attacks on other people because you are hardly one to cast stones. Recall the “play with fire” ending?

First of all, I would like to start off with the statement that I think very highly of Jen, and Stacie. I hold no ill feelings against them; other then I did not appreciate the txt messages coming in at 2:30 in the morning. I must also explain the reason for the distance from both young women was due to the closeness of their association with the man mentioned in my piece. I also do not have any doubt in Stacie’s abilities of being a wonderful teacher, just in the company she keeps. It doesn’t take much for him to have them open up their social sites at his home, and POOF! There goes my privacy. I never thought privacy settings were needed until I met this man…
Second, why don’t you all take a look at the joke this piece has turned into, and I feel I must mention, this piece was NAMELESS and it was my feelings on a case. It wasn’t until all the DC Phenomenon followers decided to slam the site. Which really just makes me laugh as it shows guilt. Everyone has lost track of what this piece was about. You know, as you defend this man, he has been told by the police force to no longer contact the family, due to calling the home numerous times a day from three different numbers. So he then goes through a mutual friend who he has brutally abused for months now, to call the family and ask questions for him. Which in my opinion, is disgusting. By the way, as you are stalking this site my friend, the answer to your mediator meeting is a big NO WAY. Though, it was very comical to me how you seemed to find the stolen photos and writings, after a criminal case was opened on you.
Oh, as I see the family has wrote a statement in the above comments, and has been monitoring the site all along. I now believe the comments attacking my credibility should cease. If you have enough time to stalk a public site, and txt my phone, then you have enough time to locate the interviews yourself, as well as looking at his lecture schedule from the past two years.
