Wandering Ghost

Wandering Ghost

There exist numerous locations dotting the Western New York landscape which have been documented as having been the sight of some form of anomalous paranormal activity.

Where each location is known by its own distinction and regional characteristics.

Western New York is a beautiful region to explore for leisure and even elements involving the unknown.

And Canandaigua, New York, is one of my more favorite locations because of its blending of unique businesses and scenic natural beauty.

Canandaigua, New York, like many other communities, is also known for its more historical based locations. Many of which through the years have produced reports of haunting activity.

Many of which go unreported or only shared in private conversations.

Last weekend we had toured the Western New York region which had also included a stopover for dinner and ghost hunting in Canandaigua, New York. Where we had found ourselves exploring one of the many naturally scenic Canandaigua cemeteries.

Where it would seem that such a beautiful day in such a lovely location had brought out both the living and her ghosts into the sunshine.

Standing amidst the gravestones, Rochester, NY, Professional Psychic Medium “Ms. Cindy Lee” of Mystic Solutions had captured the image of this wandering spirit within one of Canandaigua’s many cemeteries during mid afternoon.

The figure appears to be a man in a black coat or cloak making its way through one section of cemetery before vanishing from view.

Canandaigua, New York, is well known for its spirits involving the regions fine wines.

But also for its ghosts.

  1. I absolutely love the new blog look!

  2. Thank you! :)
I find interior decorating an acquired taste which should only be partially influenced through necessity.

  3. I have many fond memories of Canadaigua as a kid. My family often visited Roseland Park in the summertime and also Letchworth State Park in Mt. Morris. Since my relatives at the time lived in Attica, NY, we would often visit these sites and have a great time enjoying each other’s company. Even as a kid, I sensed things going on in certain areas but couldn’t really put my finger on what the “goings on” were. Years later, I am learning more and more and finding that thru feelings and modern technology, amazing images can be captured where one doesn’t always imagine them to be. Thanks to your wonderful website and what you share with the public. Much can be learned about the paranormal. I know I certainly appreciate all your efforts and hard work ! : )

  4. Growing up in Newark, N.Y. I had the chance to visit many sites in the area
that spoke to my inner voice. One such site that stands out in my memory is
Hydesville N.Y.. In 1979 I saw two women standing in the yard of a home
on Hydesville Road in Newark. They spent quite a bit of time in the yard,
and I saw them several times there after. Since then I have discovered that they were sisters who died in the early 1900’s. I cant find out anymore about them. What a way to find out that you believe in ghost.

  5. I am a clairvoyant and have grown up here in Canandaigua and still live in the home I grew up in which is one of the historic homes in the town. It was built by a Tiffany in 1850. This homes pulled me back when I was 20 years old. I tryed to move away to VA, another haunted area, but the house pulled me back here. Now I am 40 and I will remain in this home. I have had several strange acurances throughout my years, spirits talk to me as I walk thru cemetaries and always have. Just on my parents property, (my Home) there has been many strange things that have never added up. There has been murders in my home in the early 1900’s as cover-ups. Woodlawn Cemetary is one of the greats for spirits. If your an empath I wouldn’t walk thru there at night alone.
